Not sure about being a better photographer... 3 years ago when I was 15 I wasn't taking pictures of your standard. It's literally all in the practise, and I've found i recent months, obvserving the metadata from fantastic photographs here on deviantart has helped me understand a little more how such good shots have been exposed.
